MKM Anlaby held a cricket match and family fun day in aid of Martin House Children’s Hospice this weekend.
A cause that’s close to the hearts of the team at Anlaby, the hospice helped to look after young Megan Pratt, daughter of MKM driver Ken, when her battle with cancer was lost last year.
The event was well attended, with some guests even suggesting that it becomes an annual event!
There were plenty of activities to entertain the whole family including cricket, football and tug of war. Fire and police services were there to let children play on the vehicles, and if that wasn’t enough there were facepainting, make up and a nail artist in attendance.
An auction and raffle helped to top up the total money raised to £1201.53!
