We’re pleased to celebrate with two of our HR assistants based at our Central Support Office in Hull as they graduate this July.
Jenny and Lydia have been working in the HR department at MKM alongside their studies at the University of Hull. Jenny will be graduating with Distinction in July with a Masters in Human Resource Management, which follows her First-class honours degree earned in 2013, and Lydia will be graduating with a degree in Psychology for which she earned Upper Second-class Honours.
“I initially came to MKM in 2013 on a 2-week contract and 3 and a half years later, I’m still here! Since 2014, alongside working within the HR department, I have been studying a full-time degree in Psychology at the University of Hull and will be graduating in July with an Upper Second-Class Honours.
Throughout my studies and time at MKM, I have developed a particular interest in Business Psychology. This interest has led me to look into further study, and as a result, I have gained a place at Leicester University to study this area at Masters Level starting in October 2017.
I am hoping that the skills I have gained from both my degree and working at MKM, as well as the additional knowledge I will gain in my Masters course, will help me on my way to eventually becoming a chartered Occupational Psychologist.”
“Throughout my time studying my degree in Management at Hull University, I developed a keen interest in HR. After graduating in 2013 with a First-Class Honours degree, I started my career in HR with a focus on Recruitment.
I then joined MKM in 2015 as a HR Assistant and decided to undertake a part time Master’s degree at Hull University in Human Resource Management, to further develop my learning.
I have now completed my 3 year MSc in HRM and will be graduating in July 2017 with a distinction. By gaining this qualification I have enhanced both my practical and theoretical HR knowledge and skills greatly, which will help me in my HR career at MKM.”
MKM are proud to have nurtured this new business talent and would like to congratulate Jenny and Lydia for their hard work and achievements.
