Project HOME, MKM Anlaby’s luxury kitchen and bathroom design and supply service, has recently designed and fitted not one but three dream bathrooms in the Lincolnshire Wolds for delighted customers, Angela and Trevor.
Designer, Kerry Jessop, helped Angela and Trevor turn their ideas into reality. She comments: “After visiting the Anlaby showroom, Angela and Trevor called me to
talk over their project. It was clear that it was going to be a big job, so I went to visit them to run through some ideas.
“We were absolutely bowled over with the ideas, inspiration and designs at the showroom in Anlaby,” Angela comments, “and Kerry making a home visit was so helpful. She was so knowledgeable about the designs, products and how to get the best from our space. She put us at ease about the whole project from the start, and we felt like we could talk to her about all of our ideas.
“We’d been in touch with other designers before we approached Kerry, but we felt like we couldn’t really communicate with them in the same way, so we knew straight away that we wanted to work with her.”
The project was to design and fit three bathrooms: two main bathrooms and an en-suite. Angela and Trevor had a clear idea of what they wanted for their main bathrooms, but were stuck for ideas for their en-suite. Project HOME were able to give them everything they wanted and more, as Angela explains: “We bought our house a year ago and the bathrooms were very tired and dated, so we wanted to completely redesign them.
“I knew how I wanted the main bathrooms and Kerry showed me products that would enhance what I had in my mind’s eye. She even sourced the brown marble sinks I wanted, which I thought would be too difficult to get hold of. Nothing was too much trouble.”
For the en-suite, Kerry came up with an idea that transformed it into a bathroom with a difference, as she explains: “This was originally a link room to a nursery, which we turned into a completely dedicated en-suite. I had the idea that there would be no straight walls and everything would be curved, which Angela and Trevor loved.”
“I would never have thought of that idea,” Angela comments, “and it really gave us the wow factor that we wanted.
“The most important things for us overall, were to have that wow factor but also have bathrooms that were very functional at the same time with high quality products at a competitive price. Communication and aftercare are also really important to us. Not only did we get all of these, but Kerry and the team handled everything from start to finish and took the stress and pressure out of designing and fitting a project of this scale.
“We’re so impressed with the work that Kerry and the whole team have done. They did a fantastic job and we can’t recommend them highly enough. We’re really looking forward to working with them again in the spring on our new kitchen.”
