MKM Anlaby goes the extra mile to create a one-of-a-kind kitchen

Project HOME, MKM Anlaby’s luxury kitchen and bathroom design and supply service, has recently turned heads by designing and installing a stunning, unique kitchen in Kirk Ella for delighted customer, Susie Hatfield.

Designer, Tony Patrick, helped to create Susie’s dream kitchen. “In terms of design, this was no ordinary kitchen. Susie came to us with a unique island idea to create a real focal point in her kitchen.

“After talking through what she had in mind, it was clear from the outset that the designing software we would normally use wasn’t going to be quite up to it. So we made a series of miniature scale models of her new kitchen that she could take home.”

“Project HOME were great,” Susie comments. “They explained why I was struggling to get what I wanted from the other kitchen companies I approached, and the little scale model made everything much clearer. It was just so visible and I had something that I could actually see and feel. I loved the fact that I could take it home and really imagine what the kitchen would look like.

“They were even able to add in the little touches too, like sourcing the special door handles I wanted with Swarovski crystals, which made such a big difference.”

Project HOME pride themselves on going above and beyond when it comes to designing the right spaces for their customers, as Tony explains: “Most kitchen companies can only work to the limits that the designing software allows, but we go beyond that.

“By stepping outside the limits of the software, going back to the drawing board and working closely with Susie, we managed to create a kitchen design that ticked all of her boxes and was within budget. The end result is a beautiful, unique kitchen, and everyone has done an amazing job on it.”
