The Worshipful Company of Builders’ Merchants (WCoBM) exists to promote training with builders’ merchants and helps support numerous charities.
The latest City & Awards luncheon celebrated the success of students from the BMF and we’re proud to have high achievers from MKM amongst the award receivers. Of four award winners three of them were employees of MKM Building Supplies.
On hand to present the prestigious awards were The Master Leo Martin and Guest of Honour Sheriff Dr Christine Rigden.
Gerard Hull (MKM Darlington) scooped first prize with 10 MOL points and 2 distinctions.
He received a tankard and cheque for £1,000, which was accepted by our CEO Philip Johns on his behalf.
Second prize of a tankard and £500 cheque was awarded to Matthew Cobb (MKM Southport) who had 8 points with 1 distinction and 1 credit. Joint third with 5 points and 1 distinction was Mark Withall (MKM Kings Lynn). Mark received a cheque for £300 alongside his tankard.
Congratulations to all!
